- Transit Australia - Website of the long established transit magazine - some articles on site.
- Belgium
- Tram 2000 - Published 10 times a year since 1981, Tram 2000 covers happenings in Belgium and beyond plus museum news for the Musée du Transport Urbain Bruxellois (MTUB) and the l'Association pour le Musée du Tramway (AMUTRA). The website also has reports and photos of current tramway projects around Brussels plus museum excursion/activity information and a discussion forum.

- Arbeitgemeinschaft Blickpunkt Strassenbahn - The German tramway enthusiasts' organization. A large and very professional website in English as well as German - a "must visit" site!
- Strassenbahn Magazin - Portion of the GeraNova Publishing company site devoted to their monthly "Streetcar Magazine" covering the tram and light rail scene not only in Germany but the rest of Europe plus Asia and the Americas as well. The site has the contents of the current issue (and the most recent "special" edition such as the one devoted to Stuttgart in early 2002) plus an archive of past contents searchable by issue date or by topic. There's also a news section, events calendar, rail-related television schedule, classified ads, online shop, links, discussion forum, and more.
Other portions of the site are devoted to GeraNova's other magazines including LOK Magazin and Modellbahn.

- The Third Rail Online - Continuing the tradition started by The Third Rail newsmagazine first published in 1966 and then again in the mid 1970s, this online edition has published a new edition every few months since May 1999. Coverage centers on current and historical New York City and other US topics, including selected "reprints" from the earlier newsmagazine editions. The Autumn 2000 edition features a marvelously detailed piece on subway service to the 1965 World's Fair while the May 2000 edition describes how National City Lines dramatically changed the face of transit in Philadelphia over just three years in the 1950s.
- Worldwide
- Funimag - "The first Web Magazine about Funiculars" having been published roughly quarterly since January 1996. The site has the current and all back issues with each issue havingseveral feature articles (with photos) and a "just for fun" game usually based on a mystery photo. Other special features of the site include a comprehensive database of all funiculars in Switzerland (most with description pages containing technical details, maps, and photos), a summary of funicular manufacturers and suppliers, technical background on the different kinds of funiculars, and more.

- Railway Gazette International - Associated with the monthly magazine of the same name, the site includes international news on light rail, tram, and metro, and other rail systems together with summaries of features articles in the print edition. There's an archive dating back to 1998 (with earlier indices) plus conference and course schedules, company profiles, contracting and employment opportunities, and information about their other publications including the annual Metro Report (with progress reports from system operators as well as articles of technical, commercial and operational interest).
In English with selected summaries in French, German, and Spanish.
