Sheffield tram-train consultation

As part of the plan to introduce tram-trains between Sheffield and Rotherham Network Rail needs to build 150 metres of new track at Tinsley (Tinsley Chord), which will connect the Supertram and railway network. To this end there will be a consultation prior to applying for the necessary powers under the Transport and Works Act.

There will be a public exhibition of the plans where the public will be able to find out more about the proposal, meet the team and have their say.

This takes place at the Source Skills Academy, Meadowhall:
