Nottingham extensions opening

It has just been announced that the first trams open to the public on NET phase 2 will depart August 25, at 06:02 from both Toton Lane and Clifton Park and Rides. The doors will not open on the new extension for public before 06:00. LRTA members intend to be at Toton Lane for this first tram to celebrate the opening.

NRT has invested in state-of-the-art technology for 'buy before you board' ticketing and smart card payment and has recently introduced a £3.50 day return ticket within the wider city area and great savings are also available by using a MANGO smart card or by purchasing a season ticThis is Available from Tuesday 25th until Monday 31st August and can be purchased from all tram stop ticket machines across the network.
